Vvicat Write is a macOS writing assistant built around local voice processing and privacy-first text workflows.
Information We Access
- Microphone access is used to capture speech for dictation.
- Accessibility access is used to insert finalized text into the currently focused application.
- Input Monitoring access is used to support user-configured keyboard shortcuts.
How Data Is Processed
Vvicat Write is designed to process audio and writing tasks locally on the user’s Mac whenever those capabilities are enabled. Audio recordings, transcriptions, personal dictionary entries, and writing history are intended to remain under the user’s control.
Data Sharing
Vvicat Write does not sell personal data. If future versions add optional online services, both the product and this policy should be updated before those services are made available to users.
User Control
Users can revoke system permissions through macOS System Settings and remove locally stored app data from their device at any time.
